OFDAXML FORUM AT NEOCON ANNOUNCED

ALEXANDRIA, VA -  May 5, 2005 - The OFDA Technology Committee, an industry standards development organization, is inviting all interested office furniture manufacturers, dealers and industry software developers to participate in a free “Introduction to OFDAxml” Forum meeting during NeoCon. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.

OFDAxml provides industry-wide standards for data communication between office furniture manufacturers and their dealer partners.

During the Forum, participants will gain a first-hand understanding of how the OFDAxml can improve order accuracy and reduce order processing costs, and learn how implementing the standard can transform catalog data and create new sales opportunities. The session will also provide attendees with an action plan to take advantage of the new OFDAxml industry standard within their own companies.

This session is valuable for manufacturers and dealers already processing orders electronically or developing electronic catalogs as well as those looking to start distributing electronic catalogs and processing orders electronically. An understanding of XML is not required.

OFDAxml Forum registration is complimentary. To pre-register, visit the NeoCon website at http://www.mmart.com/neocon/registration.html before May 18, 2005 and select session AF12. Participants are welcome to register onsite after that date.
